The number of acupuncture sessions needed varies depending on your condition and how your body responds. Generally, acute conditions may improve in 3-5 sessions, while chronic conditions might require 8-12 sessions or more. After an initial assessment, our certified acupuncturist will create a personalized treatment plan with an estimated number of sessions.
We recommend wearing comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Breathable fabrics like cotton or moisture-wicking materials are ideal. Avoid overly loose clothing that might get in the way during certain poses. Yoga is typically practiced barefoot, so no special footwear is needed. We provide all necessary mats and props.
For most Ayurvedic treatments, we recommend coming on an empty stomach or having a very light meal at least 2 hours before your session. Avoid caffeine and alcohol on the day of your treatment. Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting oil on, as many Ayurvedic treatments involve herbal oils. We'll provide more specific instructions based on your chosen treatment when you book.
